Ring Doorbell Won T Charge When Plugged In. My video doorbell is plugged in to charge via the USB but nothing is lighting up to show that its actually charging. The doorbell got rung when it was 93 charge now its no longer charging which seems silly.
See pics for proof of it with Doorbell 2. Each new doorbell comes with an orange cable but any micro-USB will work just as well. Its been plugged in for almost 6 hours and it still says 15 battery in the app.
Isnt it incredible to be able to receive alerts if someone is.
Lithium-ion batteries have trouble charging at 32-degrees F and may stop working altogether at -5-degrees F. The Ring doorbell can be used to -5 degrees. This module is what allows the Ring doorbell to control the chime. See pics for proof of it with Doorbell 2.
